Dear Mr. President,

 

As you are aware, in pursuit of glasnost letters previously sent primarily to yourself and Robert Mueller have been and continue to be sent everyday as emails galore to state legislators across the Republic. In the past the responses have been unremarkable, most people accept them a few decline to participate. The latter have always been promptly deleted from the mailing list as a matter of courtesy. But lately the mood of some respondents has deteriorated. The latest wrote, “Don’t send me anymore emails, because you’re an IDIOT.” We can be thankful for an economy of words in his censure, not so his fellow, “You are f…king nuts. We get your emails every day. Why you would send them to state legislators in faraway places, I don’t know. But I’ve always wanted to say this. You are f…king insane, and your emails provide humor and brighten up my day.” (The ellipses are mine.) This lack of acuity, immoderate animadversion and inappropriate gaiety is shocking. He appears to be making his way through life in an obtuse manic depressive rage. Finally, one legislator continues these attempts at discouragement in a more moderate tone, "For the life of me I don't know why you send us daily email. No one is reading it..." and as you can see merely betrays his dereliction. Moreover, it is noted with no sense of schadenfreude that Robert Mueller in his recent appearance before Congress is showing signs of an unremitting, elevated anxiety level. Not having achieved omniscience like so many of our lovely modern liberals what exactly all this means is beyond me, but it would be the height of carelessness not to recognize that you and the desperate people whose society you enjoy have the resources and the motive for desperate measures. People who possess ungoverned power are not necessarily inclined to the good government of that power.

 

It has now been most of five months since my tax return was mailed on 2/6/2013. The wait has been another lesson in government’s ability to temporize. Finally on 5/13/2013 during one of many visits to the local IRS office their representative informed me that for some reason the IRS suspected I was an impostor. He subsequently verified my identity and submitted the necessary documentation to the IRS substantiating such. I then called for the third time the IRS advocates office. This time they admitted there was a problem and agreed to help me.

 

Initially my assigned advocate informed me that once the appropriate documents were submitted action had in the past come in about a week. However, the process has dragged out to an indeterminate date. The advocate had been scheduled to call me on 5/20/2013. For some reason that call did not come. On 5/21/2013 another advocate calling in her stead informed me that all the necessary information had been received (this was bad information). Sometime later when the person assigned to my case finally called she informed me that according to the IRS one of my two former employers had failed to send in my documenting W-2's (this was tardy information).

 

The documents were complete and finally submitted 6/3/2013. However, things have again changed. I expected to wait about a week and was told the account was on a daily post. Now I am told the account is on a weekly post and the refund might be available by 6/21/2013.

 

This is government by delinquent which logically leads to an illegitimate imperium that in this case constrains obedience to what resembles the arbitrary whim of someone’s inner child. A thought: There are organizations noted for disabusing their members of their inner child's fancies and they offer the added benefit of experience with the objective merits of an adverse reality principle. Perhaps you should seek their society.

 

These actions of yours and others require an appraisal. What has been achieved by the millions of dollars spent on the satisfaction of malice? And what price can we put on the fallen revetment of our Constitution? America deserves answers to these questions and many more.

 

The coincidences are overwhelming and unbelievable. This might be something a modern liberal would swallow, but not a conservative. You know what to do Mr. President.
